Great steak omelet breakfast special!! The gravy was in fact the best part! Friendly staff!

Favorite breakfast in new castle. Proportions are great and there selection of benadicks are the best.

We stopped for a couple of breakfast burritos to go and they were very tasty! The potatoes on the side we're delicious. If we're ever in New Castle again, we would definitely stop by to eat there again.

Amazing service and food EVERY TIME! Even overheard a large table, 20 or so, bragging about their food. Brandi is one of the best servers EVER and Glendie cooks heaven's food. This place CANNOT be beat.

This is a standard cafe menu and fair, I had breakfast it was good it's a little on the high side, but it's also not a chain restaurant like Denny's or Village Inn, it's a independently owned restaurant. Suck it up and enjoy the service and the food. As far as the few reviews I read complaining about the side of cantaloupe... dumb pretty sure it's just garnish not meant to be a side. Poor choice on their part even more on your part for thinking it's a side.

Food is excellent, staff is very accommodating, great simple atmosphere good coffee and mimosa.

Not impressed! Everything I ordered they were out of. The ranch dressing on my side salad tasted sour. Awkward atmosphere...why crystal chandeliers with the rustic barnwood accents?

Visiting from Phoenix. Came in for breakfast, and was impressed with friendliness of staff. Portions were large, so be hungry when you come. Ho.e cooked food was great

Service is great, food is good, love the atmosphere. Anyone complaining that the portions are small is crazy, I can never finish my plate and I am no peckish eater. Also, the crystal chandeliers and rustic decorations provide a low-lit, ambient atmosphere that is pleasant if you are alone or with a group.

This place has the best breakfast. Good bacon. Big portions. And the girls working there are so nice and seem genuinely happy to have you there. Even when they get busy they’re cheerful:)

The service was awesome, let's lead off with that. The food is terrible, at least breakfast anyway. Sausage gravy is tasteless and obviously watered down. Green chili skillet was like a skillet with soup on it... Again obviously watered down. Raw onions in the skillets, raw green pepper as well. Such a disappointment.

On vacation we had a great brunch at the Lazy Bear before heading back to Denver. The food was very good and the staff was awesome. We will go out of our way for breakfast at the Lazy Bear the next time we vacation in Glenwood.

Food was gross - found a black hair in my food - disgusting might be a better word; but the blonde Kardashian wanna-be server was worse. She was an airhead who didn’t smile once and was rude to guests at my table, didn’t bring our toast after asking for it multiple times and charged my card twice for the same order. 😂 The french toast meal was nothing more than two sides of french toast on a tiny plate and a large plate of sides? The garnish on the plates were laughable as it was just a piece of lettuce and two pieces of melon. Not to mention the fake crystal chandeliers in a rustic barn looking restaurant. Nothing flowed together or made sense and the service was despicable so I will not be returning. Wondering why i wasted my only day in town having breakfast at this inbred restaurant.
